Honoring Our Legacy: Celebrating Black History Month at the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce

As we embark on Black History Month 2025, the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce proudly honors the legacy of its founders and the many individuals who have shaped its journey. In 2006, Keevin Dailey and Jamal Murray, two visionary African American men, recognized a critical need: a supportive community where Black business owners and entrepreneurs could thrive. From their vision, the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce was born.

This February, we celebrate the rich history of the Chamber and the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels it. Each week, we will highlight the stories of active members who continue this powerful legacy, passing the torch of innovation and success to the next generation of Black business leaders in Collin County. Join us as we reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.
