This year's theme is "Laces & Legacy," where chic meets comfort, and we are honored to feature a Keynote Address by the esteemed President & CEO of the U.S. Black Chamber of Commerce, Ron Busby, Sr. We look forward to an insightful and inspiring message from our nation's capital, shedding light on the vision and opportunities for the upcoming year.

A highlight of the evening will be the formal installation of our 2025 Leadership for the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce, along with special recognition for outstanding community business owners and leaders. Scholarships will also be awarded to a select group of exceptional high school students, showcasing the future of our community.

Are you a budding entrepreneur ready to take your business to the next level?

In collaboration with Booker T. Spencer, Jr., owner of Bootstrap Entrepreneurs, Inc., we're excited to announce our inaugural Entrepreneur Award.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Established Business: Your DBA must be operational for at least 9 months.
  • Digital Footprint: Active presence on at least one social media platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Local Connection: Reside or conduct business within Collin County.
  • Commitment to Growth: Willingness to participate in a 90-day coaching program.

Awarding Scholars

The guidelines for award recipients:

  • Students must be present at the Year-End Celebration "Sneaker Ball" - Recipient will be granted one admission plus one guest admission. 
  • Students must live or attend School in Collin County
  • Students must have a "B" average GPA.
  • A Letter of Recommendation from school official - teacher, counselor, or principal is required
  • Student must attend an accredited College or Technical School post-graduation.
